The Dark hates you too …

The night approaches

The Day is gone

From the bowels of the Earth

The Dark is born

We cower and seek shelter

Run helter and skelter

moaning and weeping,

“I hate the Dark”.

But what if the

tables are turned

and you are apprised

Just like you hate it

You the Dark despise

It gives you shelter

from dangers all around

sure it hides monsters

but aren’t you just one of them.

It gives you peace

Absolute.

And you run from it

to that chaos that is light

Fire.

Fire that preys on others to burn

And Dark which feeds on itself

Yet you worship the fire.

You say you are afraid

of the nightmares it brings

Is it really that

or you are scared

That the dark knows

All that you do

in the singularity it provides.

All that you leave behind,

Hoping no one will ever find.

So i ask you again,

Is it night that scares you ?

Or the past that haunts your soul ?

And you run to the light

rejecting a part that is your own.

Just like a tree which gives you all

and you burn it down

The Dark gives you what you want

and you shirk

too meek to accept your own desires

Afraid of stepping in and letting go.

For once shed this farce and let go

For the dark is where you came from

And the dark is where you shall go.
